She Fest 2024

Join us for YoFi SheFest 2024!

 

SheFest is a selection of short narratives and documentaries celebrating the voices of women and non-binary filmmakers in New York. These films represent the perspectives of women, encompassing all the complexities of identity and context.

 

The program is curated by Gabrielle Fox, Founder of Theatre Revolution & Glass Ceiling Breakers and the Winner of the 914Inc. Women in Business Award.

 

A talkback with the curator and filmmakers will follow the program.

 

Films include:

• Choices (Lina Sarrello)

• Father Daughter Dance (Gabrielle Fox)

• I DIGRESS: The Intimate Insights of a Childhood Weirdo (Sauda Aziza Jackson & April Sweeney)

• Phone Call (Zoë Kim)

• Pretty Doesn't Hurt (Jennifer Rau)

• The Seven Men of Hanukkah (Sharon Cooper)

• When We Arrive as Flowers (Margaret Montavon)

 

This screening is FREE, but tickets are required to manage capacity. Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-seated basis.

 

Doors open at 2:30pm. We will begin seating waitlist at 2:55pm. Doors will close and screening will begin promptly at 3pm. No late arrivals will be accommodated, no exceptions.
