Even with an interesting story, compelling performances, and great sound, your film isn't complete without top-notch color grading. In this workshop, freelance colorist Patrice D. Bowman will talk to you about the basics of color (correction vs. grading, color theory, tools, software) and provide case studies of past projects she worked on. After this talk, you will have more knowledge of how to collaborate with colorists for your next project.

 

Patrice is the founder of Bowman Pictures and an award-winning filmmaker, editor, and a colorist. Her color grading work can be seen in a variety of places, from online promos for VICE on HBO to tourism commercials to music videos for upcoming artists.
