Short Movies About the NYC We Love and Miss!

Remember movies in Bryant Park? Bar-hopping? The boardwalk at Coney Island? In person classes?

Join us in a journey back in time, to a New York City before Covid19, through the images and stories in these NYC inspired short films.

Then we'll meet up for a talkback with filmmakers on Friday at 9pm EST on ZOOM.

Share a story or something you miss about going out in The Greatest City in the World.

Bring your favorite New York inspired snack to nosh on or cocktail to sip.

TRUE STORIES BY JOE (Directed by Joe Zito)

In the familiar voice of a "true" New Yorker, Joe recounts funny stories about growing up in Italian Harlem in the 1940's.

To put the social into social distancing, we've developed an online screening series called Friday Flicks, where we curate an evening of independent film that includes a screening and an opportunity to (virtually) meet the filmmaker. Here's how it works:
1. Buy one ticket per screen (FYI, the whole family can watch from the same screen).
2. We'll send you a link to the film to watch at your convenience on any web-enabled device, as well as a link to an online "Meet The Filmmaker" session on Zoom.
3. Join us the following Friday evening at 9pm EST for a talkback with the filmmakers, where you'll have the opportunity to hear about the making of the film and get to ask questions.

Also, we'll be donating half the proceeds to Feed the Frontlines NYC!
